Meridian are looking for Maintenance Electricians to work on behalf of the NHS between Hospitals in Stafford, Stoke and Shrewsbury.
As a maintenance electrician in the NHS your main duties will include:
- planned maintenance
- repairing equipment that is broken or faulty
- testing equipment and systems
- improvements and installations
You may be required to travel between sites in a NHS vehicle, so a full driving licence is required.
You'll work alongside staff such as plumbers, joiners and bricklayers.
Electricians will be required to work inside the building with staff and patients there, but electricians do not have direct contact with health care staff or patients.
Electricians will be required to work 8am - 4pm. You will be required to work out of hours in case of emergency.
37.5 hours per week. 3 months duration with the chance of being taken on permanent.
NHS Band 4 Pay: £11.94 + Holiday pay (PAYE)
Applicants must have Level 3 Electrical qualifications either a NVQ or a similar Diploma.
