Are you a hands on problem solver who wants to learn and develop within an organisation which is top of it's field? Our manufacturing client is looking for a Machine Operative to join their team at their modern and progressive factory based in Wellington, Somerset. The role is exciting and dynamic and you will be learning as you go with involvement in high level machining.

As a Machine Operative you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up and Feeding raw materials into machines
  • Running multiple Machines within the workshop 
  • Making sure that the production process is running smoothly 
  • Quality Checking of the finished products for the next stages
  • Completing relevant production paperwork
We are on the look out for Machine Operative candidates with previous machining experience ideally within a manufacturing environment as well as the aptitude to learn new skills. You will need to be able to follow instructions to make adjustments to machine settings as well as to be flexible and open to be trained in various areas.

This role is working from 10pm - 6am, Sunday to Thursday, 40 hours a week.

The rate of pay is £11.55 per hour
, which will also be reviewed again in February.
