Job description
Meridian Business Support are currently looking for an orginised, reliable and friendly Logistics Administrator to work with our client based in Glasgow. The role would be an ideal opportunity for a dynamic, hands-on individual, looking for an ongoing (39.50 hrs per week) admin position. 

  • To accurately process customer orders via Sage and ensure they are invoiced on a daily basis
    • To ensure all filing is carried out correctly
    • To ensure advice notes are distributed to the relevant areas
    • Arrange for all deliveries to be booked in
    • Daily liaising with Logistics Management on product availability and priorities
    • Checking and reporting all items flagged as out of stock and liaising with Logistics & Production Management or the Purchasing Department
    • Arrange for carriers orders to be communicated to them
    • To deal with telephone and email queries
    • To provide the department with an administrative service as required
  • Experience in a fast-paced Logistics / Despatch Office Environment
  • Must be available for immediate start
  • Previous administrative experience in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organisational and time managment skills
  • Highly experienced in Microsoft Office packages
  • Be able to work in a high pressured and demanding environment
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and excellent attention to details
Pay rate:
  • £8.91 per hour
Work pattern:

Monday to Thursday: 8.30am - 5.30pm, Friday: 8.30am - 4.30pm
