Meridian Business Support are currently on the look out for experienced Electricians based out of the North West / Blackpool area.

Company Description:

Our client is a privately run company based in Lytham St Annes, with over 10 years’ experience in the industry. They provides a comprehensive range of services, including, full commercial & residential electrical packages ranging from offices, schools, Air source heat pumps, solar, EV Charging and apartments and all other electrical ancillary requirements.

Our client are looking for Electricians to join the team based out of their Lytham St Annes office. You will form a key part of the business, travelling from site to site working alongside other electricians.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Electrical installation on residential and commercial premises

Essential Competencies:

  • Previous experience of working with renewables. (Air source heat pumps, solar, EV Charging) However, not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate. (Preferred)
  • ECS JIB card (Preferred)
  • Industry recognised electrical qualification (Required)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. (Required)
  • Testing and inspecting qualification, preferably 2391/ 2394/5 (Required)
  • Driving Licence (Required)
  • Have excellent time management skills. (Required)
  • Have excellent customer facing skills. (Required)

Responsibilities for Renewables Electrician:
  • To provide all aspects of Renewables electrical installation and testing.
  • To provide reactive electrical repairs and fault finding.
  • To wire new Renewables such as Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar Panels
  • Install, test and commission new renewable installations across a range of manufacturers
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Work in and around Northwest England and Wales.
  • To ensure all certifications are produced as required for on-going compliance as an approved contractor.
  • Hard working, trustworthy, and self-motivated individual who possesses a positive can-do attitude and can work unsupervised using their own initiative and to set deadlines
  • Able to plan, prioritise and organise their own workload
  • Friendly, clear and professional approach dealing with customers, subcontractors and team members
  • The successful candidate will be expected to complete various onsite paperwork such as electrical installation condition reports, minor works certificates, short form risk assessments, job sheets, time sheets and any other relevant paperwork
  • Provide photographic confirmations as per MCS requirements.
