Are you an IT Support Technician with experience of working on a Service Desk supporting multiple locations? We are recruiting for an IT Support Technician to join a leading UK retailer to be based from their Bridgwater offices. Salary £22-24k per annum plus excellent benefits working Monday to Friday 8-5/ 9-6!
As IT Support Technician you will be working in a Service Desk environment supporting a wide user base including colleagues from offices, distribution centre and retail environment in their use of IT systems. You will accurately record and manage service levels to user, diagnosing faults and managing the servicing and repair of equipment.
Providing an excellent customer service you will be diagnosing software and hardware issues, including internal applications, 3rd party application and desktop, server and mobile operating systems. By carrying out problem analysis you will establish the facts and implement temporary/ permanent fixes escalating any incidents as necessary. You will be involved with installing and configuring IT equipment also. You will be able to communicate confidently whether it's face to face, over the phone, on a Google Hangout, email or Google Chat.
Knowledge of computer hardware, various vendor OS including Google Chrome OS, Microsoft Window and Apple MacOS is required for this role. Experience with the following business productivity suites is also essential: Google G Suite and MS Office 365. Previous experience in a customer service role with some knowledge of ITIL processes would be ideal.
