We are an innovative, rapidly growing SME within the cosmetics industry, and with an ambitious future ahead we are looking for two International Business Development Manager's to join our growing team. Our business is projected to go from £20m to around £50m in the next 2-3 years as the company is expanding in the UK and International. We know the way forwards is not to follow trends but set them, therefore, to ensure we maximise on our overseas opportunities we wish to engage with the right distributors in the Global marketplace. We support their marketing campaigns and product management in order to maintain our growth and maximise on sales. We recognise that we need the right people to help us grow, and this is where your sales experience, network, closing ability and account management expertise as our new International Business Development Manager will come into play.
As a key member of our sales operation reporting to our Commercial Operations Director we would like you to come with experience and exposure to sourcing and securing complex international accounts. We use a Distributor model and license suitable partners with brand exclusivity for their country or region, so a CV showing great success at finding, selling to and forming international partnerships with establish regional exclusive Distributors is what we're looking for. Ideally experience of sourcing Distributors or franchise partners within an international operation and if it were in the beauty and cosmetics industry, (or something similar) this would be a serious advantage - it might also be good if you have language skills.
The great news is that we have a proven model - with a number of successful international Distribution contracts already in place but globally there is still masses of potential, with plenty of profitable markets still waiting to be opened up. We would expect you to bring on board several a quarter, as an entirely reasonable target and you will achieve this by using direct contact approaches to pre-screened and short-listed suitable partners, selected for their scale, potential and location. Having sourced the original lead, the role will then be to convert into a sale and to oversee the on-boarding progress through to the final paperwork being signed. Our International Accounts Manager will assist the on-boarding process.
We are offering a competitive salary of £45-50k plus 30% bonus for a demonstrable career from within our desired field of cosmetics, beauty or a similar FMCG sector.
Our office is based in Brighton, however this role offers flexibility to work from anywhere across the UK; we just need you to be able to travel to Brighton for meetings.
