Are you an Administrator with experience in Sales? We are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Administrator to join a leading Chemical Manufacturer in Stoke on Trent. This is a permanent role with a salary of 18k, working Monday-Friday 8.30-5pm, with 26 days holiday, company pension + free parking.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be providing day to day administrative support to the external sales reps, liaising with suppliers and prospective customers, sending dispatch of goods and updating customers on their orders, market research on prospective customers, and keeping internal records up to date. This is a fantastic role for someone with a keen interest and enthusiasm for sales wanting to learn the basics and develop within a successful company. There will be the opportunity for the role to evolve with an emphasis on sales, business development and generating new leads.
You will have a background in sales and administration, ideally from a manufacturing or distribution industry but this is not essential, with a high level of enthusiasm and a get up and go attitude. This is a busy role where no two days are the same, so the ability to work methodically and autonomously is important. You will need a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook, it is desirable to have used a CRM system previously.
