We are looking for an experiencedInfrastructure Application Developer to join our successful team within an Electrical Trade Wholesaler based out of Sheldon, Birmingham.
Contracted to 37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00
No bank holiday working required

As an Infrastructure Application Developer, you will support the branch network with developing, supporting, and maintaining various Technical Projects across the IT function. You will take ownership on Testing & developing script, provide technical support on our web shop and mange & resolve service desk escalations whilst ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within company standards.
Infrastructure Application Developer Role:
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time
Review, support and develop applications as requested (All Rexel systems in scope)
Ensure system resource, availability and allocation for Testing and Development
Maintain project plans to aid the tracking of Project and testing progress
Maintain the relationship with all stakeholders and third parties/vendors
Flag project risks as they may arise
Continually review the testing practices used, evolving and editing them as needed so that they remain fit for purpose
Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery and develop accordingly
Prioritise and plan activities, taking into account all the relevant issues such as deadlines and resource requirements
Evaluate and help select testing services, suppliers and test tools
Infrastructure Application Developer Person:
Experience within Microsoft cloud applications such as Azure and MS Flow
Experience within Web Automation Testing Tools desirable
A knowledge of project management methodologies (eg Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, PRINCE2) in relation to planning, monitoring and controlling projects throughout their lifecycle.
Strong time management skills and organisational skills are critical
