After years of service our HR Manager is moving on to pastures new. We are looking to find someone to join our business that will lead our HR function and enhance our employee oriented high performance culture. You will report into our CEO and advise key stakeholders on the best HR practises and route for the company. Our head office is based in Kent however; you role will include UK wide travel with occasional overnight stays to support the wider business.

Ideally you will have previously provided guidance and support to staff all levels, in a stand alone position. We would like you to have dealt with a full range ER related situations, have a wide generalist experience, ideally from manufacturing or distribution and have worked in a unionised environment. Project based experience would also be welcomed, as you will consult with the CEO and our team of Directors to identify, design and implement, strategic HR projects; to enable consistent business growth. We would like someone with excellent relationships building and management skills, collaboratively working with employees and external networks for the benefit of the business.

You will manage our recruitment and selection process, providing support to managers whilst participating in the selection of staff, as appropriate. We are a growth hungry business and our headcount has expanded and will continue to expand with further acquisitions planned in the coming months and years. Therefore TUPE process knowledge from initial discussion, consultation, through to termination or redeployment is a must.
