Meridian Business support are looking for a couple of vacancies from Hospital porters to Housekeepers on behalf of our client within the NHS based around the Oxford area.

Job Description / Duties:
Transporting patients to & from wards / theatre / A&E, transporting waste, linen. (PORTER Role)

  • To complete tasks to the required standards of the department. Working as part of a team to provide a comprehensive portering service to patients, staff and visitors at the hospital.
  • To follow departmental/Trust policies and procedures.
  • To complete work records in the required format to ensure adherence to standards.
  • To use equipment following operational guidelines.
  • Must have a full UK driving licence (Beneficial but not essential). 
This role will be working any 5 days including weekends and Bank Holidays.

Job Description / Duties:
  • Cleaning Rooms / Wards / public areas and Staff accomodation also, serving food and beverages (Housekeepers) 
  • Changing Beds (Linen)
  • Hoover & mop floors
  • Emptying of Bins
  • High and Low dusting within the hospital
  • Cleaning of public area including toilet & changing areas
