Do you have relocation experience with strong people management skills? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a leading digital transformation company as Head of Relocation Services based out of their East London offices with travel across the UK. UK Driving License is required.

This is permanent role with a salary up to £65k plus car allowance/ company car, 25 days annual leave, private healthcare, sick pay, 3 paid days for charity work and up to 10% performance related bonus per annum. 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday – flexibility is required to work outside of this to meet customer needs if required.

As Head of Relocation Services, you will report into the Director managing 9 direct reports with a team of 120 operatives which is due to rise to 250. You will be responsible for achieving budgeted profit targets for the relocation division working with colleagues across the company to achieve this.

Your role will involve developing and implementing a detailed business plans, managing the department and modifying structures if required to execute the plan effectively. You will be key in developing sales, canvassing up and down the relocation chain, attending sales visits with the Sales Team and producing quotes and proposals to maximise every opportunity with existing customers as well as prospect customers.

Your leadership skills will provide direction for your team and inspire them to strive for high performance at all times. You will monitor performance, produce training matrices, and take an active role in conducting appraisals for all direct reports.
Production of resource and activity schedules, sales diary and territory planning, attending pre-move planning meetings, maintaining links with estate agents, valuers/ surveyors and chairing internal pre-move planning meetings are all key parts of this role.

We are keen to hear from applicants with previous relocation experience with proven leadership skills. You will be able to demonstrate your success in achieving sales targets with skills to overcome challenges. Ideally you will have CPC qualification, good knowledge of company vehicle legislation, be process driven with good knowledge of change and transformation projects. You will have family focused approach, be charismatic but fair in your leadership style.
