An exciting Group HR Manager role has arisen for a CIPD qualified individual with experience in the automotive/ engineering industry. This is a stand alone role reporting into the Plant & Production Director, based at their HQ in Milton Keynes, offering a salary £35-40k plus excellent benefits and an early finish at 12.30 on Fridays!
As part of the senior management team the Group HR Manager you will be supporting approx 200 FTE, as well as temporary staff for a well established automotive engineering company.
This is an HR Generalist role managing complex employee relations casework, developing HR policies and procedures to drive performance, implementing L&D policies, providing 1st line advice on existing benefits to all staff, administering payroll records and updating accordingly, advising on recruitment and selection strategies, supporting the recruitment process, carrying out new starter inductions, managing talent and succession planning, and participating in specific projects as well as supporting the change management process.
You will be educated to degree level, CIPD Level 5 ideally/ MBA in HR Management. It is essential that you have proven HR Generalist experience (3-5 years) with excellent leadership capabilities. Solid knowledge of employment legislation is required and ideally you will have worked in an engineering/ manufacturing automotive environment.
