Meridian recruitment are representing a market leading organisation in the appointment of a Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst.

Delivering required financial and other management information to the Finance Director/Dept and Executive team in line with published timetables and further associated responsibilities.

o Management account inputs

o Balance sheet reconciliation and review

o Providing a professional contribution to the Finance team and other Company Departments that is timely, adds value and ensures that the strategic intent is maintained.

o Enabling informed and effective financial and business decision-making by ensuring that financial support provided by yourself is timely, accessible and of good quality.

o Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers and partners

o Supporting and ultimately leading a monthly forecasting process, including authoritative financial advice on the impacts of changing requirements and targets.

You'll be professionally qualified through ACCA/CIMA/ACA and be able to demonstrate significant experience.

· Delivering required financial and other management information to the Finance Director/Dept and Executive team in line with published timetables and adhoc requirements e.g.:

· Management account inputs

· Balance sheet reconciliation and review

o Providing a professional contribution to the Finance team and other Company Departments that is timely, adds value and ensures that the strategic intent is maintained.

o Enabling informed and effective financial and business decision-making by ensuring that financial support provided by yourself is timely, accessible and of good quality.

o Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers and partners

o Supporting and ultimately leading a monthly forecasting process, including authoritative financial advice on the impacts of changing requirements and targets.

o Tax compliance including:

· VAT submissions

· Corporation tax calculations

· Corporation tax quarterly payments on account

· R&D Tax Credits

o Audit lead for annual audit with PWC
