You will have an in depth understanding of the principles of accounts including working knowledge of SAGE and Excel. The suitable candidate would be interested in taking on a key role in a small company, reporting to the team of directors. The role will also pick up credit control responsibility in conjunction with the company secretary.
The role will support the finance function with day to day duties such as payroll, HMRC contact, reviewing financial documents such as spreadsheets and statements as well as collating of reports.
The successful Finance Assistant would be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience of using accounting software,specifically Sage
- Previous experience of working in a finance role
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Comfortable on the phone
