English Teacher to cover maternity leave 
Location: Runcorn, Cheshire 
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084

Hours per Week: 32.50 

Meridian are working on behalf of a lovely academy trust based in Cheshire.  They are seeking to appoint a qualified, energetic and enthusiastic English Teacher who is forward thinking, innovative, with ambition and moral purpose to support the development of their students.  This school pride itself on high expectations, a commitment to ensuring pupil progress and high-quality teaching and learning.

Ideal candidates:

• You will be ambitious and will embrace being part of moving our partnering School forward.
• QTS with an English teaching specialism
• DBS on the update service, or be willing to have a new one processed
• Able to start ASAP to fulfil the whole length of the maternity contract

The role:

• Planning and delivering exciting English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Mark work and assess students
