Do you have a background in Electrical Design? Perhaps you have just finished an apprenticeship based around electrical engineering and are looking for a new challenge? If so, then we have a fantastic opportunity for a company based in Wincanton.
Within this role you would be responsible for the creation of quotations and Electrical Designs for client projects.
Key duties will include:
This is a full time, permanent position based in Wincanton and you must be able to work within the office 5 days a week.
The pay can be flexible depending on the level of experience the successful candidate can bring to the role.
Within this role you would be responsible for the creation of quotations and Electrical Designs for client projects.
Key duties will include:
- Prepare quotations, technical drawings and wiring schematics using AutoCAD 2
- Ensure margins are maintained across all products within the business
- Configure and test pre-wired equipment before it leaves the business and complete all test documentation
- Review any manufacturing issues highlighted and update any drawings / processes to prevent re-occurrences
- Maintain the design and test database by logging all product designs and test data accurately
- Check and approve drawings for production
- Update old drawings and up-issue drawing numbers
