Electrical Contracts Engineer - Leeds

My client is an M&E building services contractor based in Leeds. They currently require an electrical contracts engineer to join the business on a permanent basis.

Role:

  • Working across West Yorkshire, you'll be involved in the contract and project management of multiple commercial building services projects from conception to completion.
  • Estimation of Electrical projects including sub-contractor elements.
  • Engineering support to estimators and bid teams when required.
  • Design development.
  • Client management and development.
  • SHE management, project planning and operational delivery.
  • Setting to work and management of on-site teams.
  • Contract, financial and cost management.

Requirements:

  • Electrical background in a contracting environment with a proven track record of managing projects ranging up to £5m.
  • HNC or equivalent qualification or have relevant experience in an electrical discipline.
  • Ensure all safety, quality, technical and commercial requirements are met.
  • Working knowledge of CDM, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 regulations.
  • Understanding of technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of general office applications.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Good client and customer relation skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Be able to identify opportunities.

Salary: £40-45k per annum
