We are working with an international company based on the outskirts of Bridgwater that develops, sells and supports specialist management software for Farmers all over the world. They aim to provide excellent training and on-going support to ensure their clients receive the best possible experience.
In order for this to happen, they are continuing to expand their team and are now seeking an individual with outstanding communication and inter-personal skills to join them working as a software advisor and trainer. Ideally they are seeking someone on a full time basis but applications from outstanding candidates looking for more flexible hours will be considered. If successful you will be required to attend shows and events away from the office on occasion. The role will involve being a main point of contact for calls from customers to answer questions on the management programme and app. You will also deliver structured training for users to help them get the most out of the software. The ideal candidates will have great IT skills and experience ideally working with Dairy Farmers- this could have been gained from veterinary, cattle nutrition, breeding, consulting or milking cows or alternatively perhaps you have come from an agricultural background or have previously lived on a farm?
Key responsibilities will include being the first point of contact for customers. veterinarians or consultants seeking support over the telephone or via email. You will deliver online training for new customers and also attend and run user workshops, exhibitions and dealer meetings throughout the UK and overseas. You will also help manage projects from their conception to delivery to customers.
