An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor to work with a small yet thriving organisation based just outside Newcastle upon Tyne. Salary £18,500 per annum plus benefits including parking and close to transport networks. You will be working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, plus a 4 hour shift on a Saturday on a rota basis (1 in 4). This is a PERMANENT role and NOT a call centre environment.
As Customer Service Advisor you will be working in a dynamic and passionate team of 5 Advisors acting as the first point of contact for customers answering and resolving customer queries over the phone and via email. You will review customer accounts when they call identifying and resolving any future issues before they may arise. You must take ownership of any complaints and follow through procedures to ensure it is resolved in a timely manner.
Previous Customer Service experience is essential, either face to face or over the phone. You will have an excellent telephone manner, good IT skills with a good command of the English language to produce well written email communication to customers as no templates are in use. Your positive and solutions oriented approach will be crucial to this role.
There is NO Outbound calling in this role, ONLY Inbound and email communication.
