Customer Data Analyst

We are looking for Customer Data Analyst to join our successful team within an Electrical Trade Wholesaler based out of Sheldon, Birmingham (B26) – Will become a Hybrid role once training is complete.

  • Contracted to 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday – 08:30 – 17:00
  • No bank holiday working required

As a Customer Data Analyst, your role is integral in supporting customer data standards, policies, and measures across the business to meet regulatory and company needs.

You will work closely with the Customer Data Manager and other key stakeholders across the business to maintain data integrity, accurate billing, ensuring dispute resolution of invoices and customer data queries efficiently, by manually updating and maintaining customer master files. 

We are looking for you to use your previous experience in a similar role to work accurately through each request and think outside the box to make suggestions and improvements within the current processes to develop and improve the service we can provide.

Customer Data Analyst -
The Role:
  • Supporting the delivery of the Team and Company’s aims and objectives, by way of reducing overrides and protecting margin
  • Facilitating the Customer take-on process and work within service levels and KPIs whilst adhering to reporting procedure standards
  • Being knowledgeable and executing changes on appropriate systems, ensuring the data is always kept in line and up to date.
  • Carrying out required creation, amendment and deletions of Customer master data to maintain data integrity and ensure accurate billing.  Whilst adhering to central policies and GDPR requirements
  • Implementation of Customer price increases and protection of margin
  • Creating reports and analysis via internal analytical tools within Customer data as requested
  • Administer ad-hoc reporting and data requests from colleagues and the branch network, ensuring data requests are approved in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Supporting the wider Pricing team in the planning and introduction of new system project implementations, ad hoc tasks and activities to provide quicker response and more accurate data.
Customer Data Analyst - The Person:
  • Previous Customer data experience essential
  • Experience of MS Office products
  • Experience in SQL query system
  • Ability to come up with new ideas and processes
