Contracts Manager

Meridian Business Support are currently working with a leading Social Housing Contractor to recruit a Contracts Manager to oversee the Responsive Repairs section of their business in the North West.
As a Senior manager, you will directly manage a large in house team to deliver a their Responsive Repairs contracts. We are looking for somebody who has experience working alongside local authorities and housing associations delivering and managing multiple programmes.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of your business region, commercial and contractual performance, and client satisfaction. All projects are part of long term partnerships with Local Authorities and Housing Association clients, including internal, external and decarbonisation refurbishment schemes, including: kitchens / bathrooms, window and door replacements, roofing renewals, and fire stopping & compartmentation. We are looking for candidates with comparable experience working for a Main Contractor.
Skills & Experience required:
  • Social Housing experience, particularly responsive repairs and refurbishments
  • Proven track record of leading successful teams & exceeding performance targets
  • Programming and project management skills
  • Client liaison and relationship building
  • Extensive people management experience
  • Ability to work under pressure, whilst meeting deadlines in a client facing role
  • A formal Managing Health & Safety Qualification
