CNC Turner Setter/Operators

We are looking to recruit six CNC Turner Setter/Operators to join the team.

This is a rare opportunity to work with one of the most prestigious manufacturing engineering companies in Gloucestershire, a company investing heavily in the Cheltenham facility to keep up with very strong demand for their products and services.

With brand new machines and continuous research and development into the most modern and environmentally friendly products and manufacturing processes, this is your chance to join one of the best performing companies in the county!

Applicants should have experience of setting and operating CNC lathes, preferably machining stainless steel in 'bar' form but experience of working with 'billets' (cut down bar) or castings will certainly be considered too.

Experience of programming from scratch isn't needed, but we are looking for people who would be confident in making minor offset adjustments using Fanuc controls during the machining process.

The job

The work you will be doing ranges from small to medium batch sizes and you will need to be confident with working to engineering drawings to produce components in mostly stainless steel.

You will need to be familiar with using standard measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers and depth gauges with minimal supervision too.

Although experience of setting and operating machines using either Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol controls is essential for this role, six week's training will be provided to bring you up to speed with individual products, company processes and procedures.

The benefits
Weekly pay at a very good rate; clean, modern facilities and well maintained machines; Christmas factory shut down; free on-site parking and an early finish on Fridays.
