Exciting opportunity for a Clinical pharmacy technician to join our Homecare Oncology Specialist Team based out of Harlow.
 
You will become one of our core Clinical pharmacy technicians in a rewarding clinical setting, working closely with the NHS & pharmaceutical companies to deliver a truly exceptional service to the most important people…… our patients.
 
For this role you will need to either be from a clinical or an oncology background
  • Full time & Part time candidates considered
  • Salary up to £32,000 pa
  • Monday – Friday working one of the following set times: 09:00 – 17:00 / 10:00 – 18:00 / 12:00 – 20:00 / 22:00 – 06:00 
  • 35 hours per week - or Part time: 1 - 4 days per week
  • 36 days annual leave (28 days holiday & 8 bank holidays)

As our Clinical pharmacy technician, you will work alongside our pharmacists and compound team to support the fulfilling complex patient care prescriptions from NHS professionals.
 
As a Clinical pharmacy technician, you will be liaising with our pharmacists to create TPN formulations into valid patient prescriptions once calculations have been created. You will also get involved within all aspects of the wider Lloyds Pharmacy services to ensure patients receive the service they need.

You will need to have your NVQ 3 Pharmacy Services for this role , you need to enjoy hitting targets whilst still maintaining attention to detail and be happy with a non-patient facing environment.

Clinical pharmacy technician Skills and Experience:  
  • Must have gained your Technician qualification and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council 
  • Minimum 1 years' experience in a clinicial environment (hospital or private) 
  • Comfortable working with IT systems and experience working with Pharmacy software or systems 
  • Fantastic attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting, analysis and issue -resolution 
  • Commitment to maintaining Professional and ethical standards 
  • Familiar with technology-based service delivery is desirable
