My client is an established children’s service in the Walsall area. They have been around for over 5 years and have 3 homes at the moment. They are looking to expand over the next 12 months with 2 new homes in total. This is a personal service where you can make your mark on your home and will grow with the business.
We are looking for a Registered Manager for a brand new, 3 bed EBD home in the Walsall area. We are looking for the right manager before we fill this service, and this will give you the chance to put your own stamp on the home. You will be involved in the setting up of the service and will be able to build your own team around you. You will be able to set up and run the home with your own personal touch.
You will work closely with the MD to ensure a smooth day to day running of the service and will strive to uphold quality care at all times. You will oversee the staff team to ensure positive outcomes for our much-loved children and young people.
You will be heavily involved in the Ofsted inspections and referrals to the service.
This is a Monday to Friday role, with some flexibility expected. Usually 9-5, but there is flexibility here. One of our managers works 10-7 as this suits them better. As long as the service runs well, we don’t mind.
To apply for this role, you must have the following,
- Experience as Registered Manager of Children’s Home (any background)
- Proven track record with Ofsted and positive outcomes
- QCF Level 5 Children and young people’s workforce (or equivalent)
- Passionate and enthusiastic about care
- Ambition to grow with the company and make your mark
