Catering Assistant

Meridian Health are recruiting for a Catering Assistant to work in a hospital in Manchester
This is a temp ongoing role starting immediately which can lead to a permanent role in the NHS
This is a full time role working shifts covering 5 days out of 7, this means you would need to be available to work weekends
Hours fall between 8am and 8pm.
Hourly rate starts at £9.50 with enhanced pay at the weekends and a pay rise after 12 weeks.
Duties include:
  • Serving food and snacks in the hospital canteen and restaurant
  • Serving customers and staff
  • Assisting with basic food prep
  • Assisting with kitchen cleans and pot wash
  • Taking food up to Wards and serving meals to patients
  • Assisting with serving snacks and drinks on Wards
