Job Advertisement: Part-Time Permanent Catering Assistant
Location: Chorlton/Longsite
Hours: Monday - Thursday 11:45 am - 2:15 pm, Friday 11:45 am - 1:45 pm (Term time only, 12 hours per week)
Salary: £6,705 - £6,856 per annum (FTE £22,737)
Are you passionate about food and customer service? We are looking for a friendly, reliable Catering Assistant to join our team at the Mersey Valley Centre in Chorlton. This is a permanent part-time role, ideal for someone looking for flexibility with work-life balance during term time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments
- Ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment in the kitchen and dining area
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and food hygiene standards
- Assist with stock management and ensure food is well-presented
Requirements:
- Experience in catering or food preparation (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
