Experience: care home management, supporting older people and people living with dementia
Required: Driving licence and access to a vehicle for completion of assessments, training and meetings which can take place at other homes within the group

Role:
The Care Home Manager will be entrusted with the overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring the delivery of outstanding care standards that comply with regulatory requirements. The role demands a strategic approach to managing operations, finances, and staff development, while fostering a nurturing atmosphere for residents.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring a safe, effective, and caring environment
- Manage budgets and financial plans, driving efficiency without compromising care quality
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellence in care services
- Develop and implement policies that comply with the latest health and social care regulations
- Engage with residents and their families, ensuring their needs and preferences are at the heart of care planning
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, embracing innovation in care delivery

Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a management role within a care home or similar setting
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and care standards
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills
- Financial acumen with experience in budget management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A compassionate approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality care
