Can you successfully win new business within the telecommunications sector? Due to recent expansion we have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join an award-winning Telecommunications and Technology company in Tamworth. Basic salary up to £30k dependent on experience plus an exceptional commission structure (OTE £100K+) car allowance of £400 per month, laptop, mobile and fantastic team incentives. You will be working Mon-Fri 9-5:15 starting in November / December 2020.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be expected to generate your own leads and successfully win new business within the telecommunications sector. 75% of your role will be self generation of leads so a resilient, driven and commission led individual is essential. This is a hybrid role so you will be primarily office based with some face to face meetings required.
It is essential that you have a successful and proven background within a similar B2B sales role within the telecoms industry where you have met or exceeded sales revenue targets month on month. You will be used to average order values in excess of £2500, with sales cycles of up to 3 months. You will be joining a supportive, growing and competitive team with extensive industry knowledge between them.
You must have strong communication with the ability to converse at all levels and a natural passion and flair for the industry, you will have the ability and confidence to negotiate with ease and develop lasting relationships quickly to be able to close deals.
