My client, near Salisbury are looking for a Business Development Executive to join this very successful and exciting company. This is a varied and exciting position and you must enjoy working with people and handle deadlines, you will be able to think outside the box and sometimes manage a busy workload. You will have a Sales/Account Management type background, used to building longer term relationships, that generate repeat business for years to come.
- Maintaining existing client accounts, and look to upsell where possible
- You will also be canvassing and prospecting for sales leads and new business
- Providing a high level of customer service
- Managing the provision of our service to your clients
- You will also be required to travel as part of this role
- This role requires you to have high attention to detail, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to multitask
- You will have experience/understanding of sales negotiation, prospecting, and closing deals
- This company works to a "Sales by Service" approach, strong relationships are the building blocks to this business
- You will be a good people manager, that thrives on team building and motivating the people around you
- You will be a self-starter and a real go getter and you will have the freedom to make this role your own
- Good communication and conversational skills are a MUST combined with exceptional organisation skills
- You will have good IT skills, in particular Excel
- It would be ideal if you have some presentation experience
- You must hold a full driving licence
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday offering a salary circa £23,000 - £25,000 DOE plus bonus and benefits.
