If you are an experienced hands-on, innovative, passionate B2B media sales professional, with a proven track record in driving new business development within print and digital advertising sales, as well as events related sales them this is the opportunity for you!
A highly successful, forward thinking independent media company are recruiting for a Sales Director working on an established, major international brand to join their media sales team and employ your drive, persistence and tenacity to hit and exceed personal revenue targets. You'll making your mark on a growing brand by using your understanding of B2B media, and consultative media sales experience to develop and grow new business opportunities whilst also maintaining and developing existing revenues.
Your new hands-on Sales Director role will see you involved in:
- selling multiple platform media solutions across print, digital and events
- undertaking thorough research and building industry knowledge
- carrying out competitor analysis
- attending client meetings
- putting together media proposals for clients
- identifying contra agreements
You will also get the chance to travel internationally on occasions to both attend industry events / conferences and meet with clients.
Please note: there is no line management responsibility for this position and so will suit you if you thrive on performing purely sales focused activity aimed at hitting and exceeding personal revenue targets.
For this Sales Director opportunity, I am interested in speaking with experienced business development / sales focused professionals such as Business Development Director, Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Commercial Manager, Advertising Sales Manager, Advertising Sales Director, Media Sales Director or Media Sales Manager with proven B2B multi-platform media sales experience across across print, digital and events/conferences, who possess the drive, tenacity, gravitas and commercial acumen to succeed. This is the ideal opportunity to used your strong negotiation and relationship building skills, your target driven attitude, and your solid understanding of B2B media and how to successfully sell it.
Basic salary c. £45,000 - £50,000 p.a. (depending on level of experience) plus uncapped OTE potential with an attractive commission structure!
