This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm and every other Saturday 9am-12. A salary of £23,500 per annum is on offer plus up to 10% bonus based on performance, 31 days annual leave, retirement savings plan and life assurance!
As Branch Sales Assistant your role is to deliver excellent customer and support in the smooth running of the branch operation. You will ensure all orders are processed accurately, deal with customers in the showroom politely and efficiently, and achieve sales and margin targets for the branch.
In addition you will target new customers and be proactive in following up on all enquiries, chased held orders and contact customers for payment, as well as assist with stock takes and minimize stock transfers between branch. The role may involve operating a forklift truck to receive and process warehouse stock products.
We are keen to hear from applicants with retail experience preferably with a trade background although full training will be given on product range. You will have a proven sales and customer service background with confidence in approaching new customers. Used to working in a targeted environment you will be resilient and results driven with passion for delivering excellent customer service. Good IT skills are required including Excel and Word, with experience in cash handling.
