Are you an experienced Aircraft Fitter looking to move on to a different role?  Do you have knowledge of Helicopter Manufacturing from your previous positions?  If so, we are currently recruiting for an Aircraft Investigator to perform in depth investigations of customer complaints and significant arisings relating to product and process.
Duties will include:

Perform investigations to:
  • Validate the customer complaint / significant arising
  • Collect evidence through physical examination, interview of personnel, analysis of documentation and data
  • Collate a timeline of events and validate the evidence
  • Determine the root cause and contributing factors
  • Interrogate other systems to identify common themes
  • Propose containment action
  • Propose corrective action
Other duties to include: 
  • Document the investigation, including the following as appropriate: Text, photographs, process flows, build documentation, timeline
  • Formally present the investigation findings to the event review board and capture the agreed containment and corrective action
  • Update the investigation report based on the outcome of the event review board
  • Deliver improvements 
Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience in a relevant discipline. Must be proactive, a good communicator and excellent IT skills.

The rate for this role is £18.27 for days and £22.83 for shift (PAYE).  Whilst this role is days, you must be flexible to work a shift as and when required, as often you will need to work in line with a shift to complete your investigation.  This is a ongoing temporary position.
