Purchase Ledger Clerk/ Accounts Assistant

Meridian are recruiting for a small, family run buisness who are seeing an accounts assistant eue to a team member leaving last year and growth in the business. 

Role Duties:
  • Purchase ledger
  • Account & statement reconciliation
  • Sales ledger
  • Credit control
  • Data input
  • Process invoices and expenses
  • Assist with supplier queries
  • Payment runs
Requirements:
  • Positive attitude towards work
  • Attention to detail
  • A minimum of 6 months experience gained in a similar role
  • Experience of SAP desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Supportive member of the team
  • Proven problem solver
Role Overview
  • Permanent role 
  • Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
  • Hours are 09:00- 17:00
  • Home based role initially, plans for a split week in the future
  • Induction, training, and support for new team member will be provided
  • 3-month probationary period
