If you are an IT professional, then this a fantastic opportunity for an IT 2nd Line Support Operator to join the IT department of the leading Helicopter Manufacture based in Yeovil.
 
As a 2nd Line Support Operator, you will be a subject matter expert for core and supporting processes.  This position won’t always be a hands on position, as you will be responsible for managing escalations and advanced queries.  You will need to have the technical knowledge to support a variety of day to day IT service activities.   You will also act as day-to-day site point of contact for assigned IT matters, analysing each requirement to ensure it is filtered and assigned correctly for resolution across the wider IT team.
 
You will also be responsible for some IT Projects such as equipment upgrades.  If you have experience of managing projects within IT, this is a bonus.
 
Ideal skills that are required for this role include Technical Aspects (Desktop, Directory Services, Network, Server, Database etc) and IT Service Operation Processes (e.g. Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Fulfilment, Access Management and Event Management).
 
This position is an ongoing temporary position based on a 37 hour week. 
 
The role is paying up to £17.00 an hour, depending on the level of experience.  The site offers free parking, onsite shops and an onsite canteen.
