Up to £25000 per annum
We are recruiting for a Health & Safety Officer to join a well established recycling operation based in Denny, near Falkirk. Salary £25k approx plus benefits including parking working Monday to Thursday 8am-5.30pm and 8am-1pm on Fridays!!! There is some flexibility around hours but this is a FULL TIME position at 35 hours per week. As Health & Safety Officer you will be reporting into the General Manager, working in this standalone role you will be managing health and safety, assisting HR with administration including payroll when covering holidays, and dealing with drivers and fleet related matters. Tasks will include managing risk assessments, organising improvements and control measures, training and maintaining training records, managing PPE stock levels and negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring maintenance records are kept up to date for the workshop. You will be responsible for carrying out a weekly fire alarm test, conducting weekly visual test of fire extinguishers and keeping the fire log book up to date. In addition you will investigate any accidents or incidents, deal with H&S audits from external sources, and above all maintain positive relationships with all staff to promote good H&S procedures at all times. Maintaining the telematics system for the drivers registering and collecting locations and dealing with hire company issues will also form part of your role. Ideally you will have previous Health & Safety experience within a factory environment and have proven ability to communicate with staff in an effective manner to promote Health and Safety measures. A H&S qualification is preferred although the company will put you through this if required. You will be IT literate with good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook along with bespoke systems. You will need your own transport due to the location. Team Support Officer
Our prestigious client is looking for an Officer to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis. This position will be supporting the Capability Manager in project managing activities for the customer. Key for this role is being able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate with the customer and also internal stakeholders. This position will involve supporting the activities received from launch to completion, working to an agreed schedule. You will need to work with the business to manage the expectations of the stakeholders. This role will also involve risk management and budget control.
