Are you an experienced Procurement Officer with great attention to detail? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Officer to join a large but local facilities management company based in Stockport. Salary £26k plus 24 days annual leave and other excellent benefits working Mon-Fri on a 37.5hr contract with flexible start times! As Procurement Officer you will ensure compliance in all aspects of procurement, control expenditure and provide a customer focused service for the strategic procurement of contracts. You will support the management of supplier contracts and coordinate tender processes from beginning to end. Main aspects of the role will include providing specialist procurement advice and guidance across the organisation, manage and coordinate projects and tenders to support the business managers and promote a compliance culture that ensures continuous improvement and that legal standards are met. You will have at least 2 years working experience in a Procurement or Purchasing role and be confident working independently. CIPS qualification would be advantageous but it is not necessary.
