The Role:

To provide the highest standard of support to service users with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder, supporting Service Users in achieving positive and meaningful outcomes in line with their person- centred plans. 

To work as part of a staff team under the supervision of a senior staff member.

Responsibilities:

  • Looking after vulnerable adults with complex needs.
  • Promoting independence.
  • Providing personal care.
  • Working alongside nurses.
  • Contribute to the support, care and wellbeing of service users (in line with CQC) 
  • Promote and take part in social leisure life skills, holidays and other activities with service users.
  • To be willing to take on key worker responsibilities maintaining all relevant and appropriate records.
  • Support services users in developing independent living skills in line with their care plans.


You will be working alongside a supportive team in a lively, dynamic environment. Your job will revolve around looking after adults with both physical and learning disabilities. Though this role is challenging, it is rewarding due to the difference you will make to people's lives. This role is based in Somerset.
