Taking effect from April 2016, all nurses and midwives will be asked to apply for revalidation. Revalidation will take place every three years using the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (NMC) online systems as a mean of renewing the registration with the NMC.

As part of our commitment to our candidates we are holding a number of coffee mornings across our branches. Not only are these sessions a great chance to meet Meridian's Lead Nurse Dave Evans and the team, they also count towards your CPD and offer you a great chance to have any questions you may have answered.

Below is some of the fantastic feedback our coffee mornings have already received.

"A very BIG thank you to Meridian for today's session. I had done an awful lot of readig around revalidation and was therefore au fait with the process. However, being amounst peers and talking through the process was reassuring and useful for all of us."

"Thank you to all at Meridian for organising and giving me the opportunity to partake in the Revalidation Reflective discussion Session. Dave Evan's impact and knowledge during the session was fantastic."

"Meridian's coffee mornings are really beneficial. They give you the chance to talk about your experiences which has highlighted some difficulties we face as agency nurses. I feel even more confident in my work."

"I was struggling with where I would find five reflective accounts but after today's meeting it all started to come back to me. This meeting was a real eye-opener for me and I left with more than enough reflective accounts!"
