Key to Our Success

We are celebrating our 21st anniversary this year. We were established in Altrincham in 1989 and we have become one of the UK’s largest specialist recruitment networks with 90 branches and a turnover of over £100 million.

In February we acquired Westaff, a leading independent recruitment firm, adding 18 branches to our nationwide network, and positioning Meridian as one of the UK’s most successful independent recruitment firms. Through a succession of strategic acquisitions, we specialise in recruiting candidates for seven sectors; commercial, on-site, international, education, construction, industrial and health.

All recruitment consultants within our seven specific sectors have an unrivalled understanding of the industries in which they operate. This makes us a leader within the recruitment field. Employing 340 direct staff, we have positioned ourselves against corporate giants and remains an independently owned recruitment specialist with a family run atmosphere.
