My client is looking for a Weighbridge Operator to oversee all facets of weighbridge operations. This involves controlling all materials in and out of the site. Key areas of responsibility will be:
*Control all incoming and outbound vehicle movements.
*Inspect and price materials delivered by 'casual' suppliers.
*Ensure the Company's weighbridge procedures are adhered to at all times.
*Co-ordinate with yard personnel to ensure the correct processing of all loads.
*Assist with telephone answering.
*Assist to schedule inward and outbound transport.
*Liaison with customers, lorry drivers, contractors, and any other visitors to the company who may call at the weighbridge.
*Assist with the Management of Health and Safety on site.
To be considered for this role you must be educated to GCSE level, a good communicator and articulate, possess strong numeracy and literacy skills, good IT skills MS Word and Excel and a proven track record of a flexible approach to work and the ability to manage a varied workload. You will also have strong organisational and co-ordination skills.
Hours of Work: Mon to Thurs 07.00 - 16.30, Fri 07.00 - 15.30, Sat 07.30 - 12.00.
