QUALITY INSPECTOR/TECHNICIAN

Quality Inspector/Quality Technician
The role
*Responsible for the inspection of precision Machined components/parts through process control instructions in accordance with ISO 9001.
*Responsible for Goods inward inspection, in process and final inspection.
*Carry out investigations into quality problems and provide advice on possible corrective action.
*Identify defects
*Monitor and Maintain traceability of production parts
Essential skills, requirements and experience
*Ideally you will be a time-served apprentice from an Engineering background with inspection experience obtained in a Production Engineering/Machine Shop Environment.
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*Conversant with a variety of inspection techniques and equipment i.e. Micrometers, Height gauges, Verniers, CMM measuring equipment etc
*Experience of ISO9001
*Excellent team work and Communication skills
*Proficient in the use of Microsoft Work and Excel.
