Working for a well established company with over 35 yrs of trading, over 20 million turnover, a vast global presence and a market leader in the design and manufacture of alarm, signal, control and notification equipment. As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the management of day-to-day activities within the control panel department
,scheduling and prioritizing work in line with production demands, monitoring and evaluating performance and productivity of individuals and the department.You will ensure safety policies and procedures are maintained and followed working with line management to support the business in terms of departmental and business administration. As the Team Leader you will be working with both engineering and sales to define control system requirements at initial quotation stages and undertaking activities with third party vendors on materials, supply, and equipment control / procurement

The successful candidate should also be able to demonstrate:

Experience within an electrically biased control systems / panel manufacturing environment. Suitable knowledge and experience of electrical controls and systems. Ability to develop control system requirements / layouts from customer written specifications.Understand complex electrical wiring diagrams and systems fault find and rectify electrical / control system issues.
Relevant qualifications within electrical / electronic assemblies (C&G / NVQ) are desirable as is Knowledge and experience of wiring regulations 17th edition. You must have working experience at a supervisory level, have effective communication at all business levels and evidence of producing to high quality standards under pressure.

The candidate will be required to contribute to continuous improvement 

activities, 5S, health and safety, and operational standards of excellence, at both an individual and department and posses a history of reliability and commitment to your work. A willingness to learn new production techniques and the initiative to contribute constructively to all team initiatives is also required.
