We are recruiting a Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Operator on behalf of a prestigious company based in Yeovil.
Experience in the following is essential to the position:
*Magnetic Particle Inspection - 100% inspection of all components to ensure no flaws within the material
*Penetrant Flaw Detect - 100% inspection of all components to ensure no flaws within the material
*Eddy Current
*Nital Etch - 100% inspection of all components to ensure there are no Temper and Re-hardening machine burns present in the component.
This position requires an annual assessment carried out by the NDT level 3 and a successful eye test carried out by the Occupational Health Department.
Successful candidates must have excellent teamwork and communication skills, attention to detail and conscientious. Must be flexible with the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a small team. The role involves working as part of a shift team.
