Previous experience of upholstery, sewing items of furniture, strong attention to detail to locate and repair defects. Must be able to follow patterns, templates, sketches or blueprints, measuring and cutting all types of fabric and leather. Will need to be able to do body work, webbing, padding, springs and stapling. Must be a self driven ,result orientated person with a positive 'can do' attitude. Must show clear focus on high quality in a production environment with the ability to forward plan, work and assess your own performance. Duties to include fitting, installing and securing material on frames, using hand tools, power tools, glue and/or staples. Using materials to build furniture up such as loose fibre, stuffing, cotton and/or foam padding to form smooth surfaces. Recovering existing pieces, manufacturing /upholstering furniture.
£6.10 per hour working
39 HOURS, MONDAY - FRIDAY BETWEEN 6AM AND 11PM
