My client is seeking an Operator to carry out all activities necessary to ensure the safe de-pollution of all vehicles for disposal. Your key accountabilities will be:
*Ensure vehicles are unloaded and stored in a safe and proper manner.
*Ensure vehicle details are accurately recorded throughout de-pollution activities.
*Ensure all tyres, wheels, batteries and catalytic converters are removed prior to de-pollution.
*Ensure that all fluids are safely removed.
*Ensure radiators are removed after de-pollution, if feasible.
*Maintain the de-pollution rig, according to the rig maintenance schedule.
*Ensure the rig, tools and surrounding area are kept in a clean and tidy state.
*Ensure that all Environmental, Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.
To be considered for this role you will have:
*Valid Fork Lift Truck licence for counterbalance trucks is essential.
*Basic knowledge of car maintenance would be preferable.
*Proven track record of working within a team environment.
*Proven track record of a flexible approach to work.
*Ability to stay calm under pressure.
Hours: Mon to Thur 07.00-16.30, Fri 07.00-15.30, Sat 07.30-12.00Meridian Business Support are acting on behalf of our Clients as a Recruitment Agency.
