My client is looking for a 360 Crane Driver to sort and load scrap metal. Key accountabilities will be:
*Safely load and sort scrap metal for the shredding operation.
*Assist suppliers with the unloading of their vehicles.
*Assist customers with the loading of vehicles.
*Inspect all scrap metal for non-shreddables.
*Carry out daily machine checks.
*Work within a Health and Safety driven environment.
*Assist commercial and private customers/suppliers.
*Comply with the Company's Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.
*Comply with the Company's Quality procedures.
You will:
*Preferably have 360° operator experience.
*Re-handling equipment industry experience.
*Calm nature during rapidly changing situations.
*Keen eyesight.
*Steady methodical approach and attitude.
*Proven track record of a flexible approach to work and the ability to manage a varied workload.
*Ability to work as part of a team.
*Must have a high level of self motivation and discipline.
*Flexible approach to working hours.
Hours of work will be: Mon to Thurs 07.00 - 16.30, Fri 0700 - 15.30 and Sat 07.30 - 12.00.Meridian Business Support are acting on behalf of our Clients as a Recruitment Agency.
